How Player’s Choice will be determined:
At the end of each round, each opponent will rate the appearance of their opponent’s army on a scale of 0 to 4.
0 - “Minimal effort has been put into the appearance of this army.”
1 - “This army isn’t finished, but the progress looks good.”
2 - “Army is finished to tournament standards” (All models 3+colors and based)
3 - “This is a good looking, finished army”
4 - “This army is one of the best I’ve seen, and one of the best looking armies here!”
Therefore, each player has a possible total of 20 (4 points per opponent, for 5 games) points available towards player’s choice.
In addition to the scoring from your opponent, each and every participant also gets to cast one vote for their ‘favorite army’ overall. They may cast this vote for any army entered into the tournament, not necessarily an army they played against. Each player’s ‘favorite army’ vote is worth 10 points.
These player’s choice points are not reflected anywhere in your tournament score, and are separate from your paint score. The person with the most points given by their five opponents and ‘favorite army’ votes totaled wins the award for Player’s Choice.
Player’s Choice is just that, the player’s overall favorite army entered in the tournament and as such, this category has no restrictions. Any legal army entered in the tournament may win this award, regardless of whether the player painted it or not.
