| | WARHAMMER 40K CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS 2007
SPORTSMANSHIP SCORING
After each game players will fill out a checklist that grades their opponents
sportsmanship. The checklist is primarily objective rather than subjective and
allows a player to receive a maximum of 20 points for each game. Over the course
of the three games this allows for a maximum sportsmanship of 60. At the end of
the tournament all players will select which of their opponents they considered
to be the best sportsman. For each sportsmanship vote a player receives, they
will earn one additional point to their sportsmanship score.
- Did your opponent measure accurately throughout the game? (i.e. no
front to back measuring, no sloppy measuring, etc...)
- Was your opponent fair and honest? (i.e. allowing to you see all dice
rolls, etc...)
- Did your opponent design a balanced army representative of the race
he/she was playing?
- Did your opponent play at a steady and reasonable rate (didn't delay or
speed turns to gain an advantage)?
- Was your opponent able to provide a copy of his/her army list and offer
to do so?
- Did your opponent play in a polite and sportsmanlike manner? ( No swearing,
throwing things, insulting, etc...)
- Was your opponents army WYSIWYG?
- Did your opponent attempt to make the game fun? (Didn't take it too
seriously, laughed, etc...)
- Did your opponent NEEDLESSLY argue rules? (If your opponent was correct
on a rules dispute than it was not needless!)
- Do you think your opponent is worthy of a perfect sportsmanship score?
