One of these objectives will be a bonus objective, which will be worth two battle points instead of one.  This will be announced before the game starts

Awards:  Each award can only be awarded to a given army once in the tournament year.  For example:  You play a Savage Orc army and win Overall, you can not win Overall in this year with that army again, but you can still win the other awards with it; such as Best Paint or Best General.

The above listed random assignment is accomplished via a program I've written to track the tournament year.  Even I don't know what we will be playing before the tournament contestants are entered.  As the program is setup to be completely random, no challenges will be accepted.

You can sign up for the tournament by email to me (dr_sql@citlink.net) or Bryan (bechols@citlink.net) or at the store.

Prizes at the end of the year are as follows:

1st    Gift Cert of a value equal to the current army box cost

2nd    Gift Cert of a value equal to the current batallion box cost

3rd    Gift Cert of a value equal to a large box cost (around 50 dollars)

4th    Gift Cert of a value equal to a large box cost.

The game tables will be setup with light to heavy terrain and there maybe a surprise table for table one.

Army Restrictions Warhammer:
The general rules for the tournament are straightforward. You must use the same army for each game. The 6th edition set of rules must be used. Furthermore, contestants should know that this tournament is for fun, and that poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated.

1)       You must create your army using the appropriate 6th edition Warhammer Armies book, Ravening Hordes, or the most updated “official” lists in the Warhammer Annuals or Chronicles.   “Trial Rules” and Appendix armies are not permitted.

2)       You must bring a 2,000-point force using the standard 2,000-point force restrictions.  Composition scoring information will be displayed on the stores website and available in the store.

3)       What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG). If a model is armed with an item, it must be shown on the figure. Models for army list choices that are not available must be converted. If you are in any way in doubt about whether your conversion or scratch built piece might not be acceptable please call us before the tournament. We don't want someone to show up with something they can't use!  This tournament will have a painting score so painted models are recommended.  You may use non-Games Workshop models in this tournament.

4)       You may NOT use Special Characters.  Note that this includes any Regiment of Renown consisting entirely of characters (and any mounts they may have).

5)       The most current rules clarifications from the Warhammer Annuals, Chronicles and White Dwarf will be in use.  Including the Revised Lores of Magic listed as “Trial Rules” in the U.S. version of the 2004 Chronicles.

6)       You must conduct yourself in a manner that will not bring our hobby into disrepute.

7)       You must bring all materials needed to play including dice, measuring device, templates, models, and any rules that you will be using.

8)       Bring two copies of your army list, preferably typed.  Hand written army lists are difficult to read and this increases the chance of scoring errors.
